About this product
A skiver is the type of leather that is inset into a desk or bureaux writing surface, quite often with a gold tooling around the edge. It is normally made of a very fine type of leather often sheep or calves skin.
We can make you a skiver to order with inlaid tooling to a pattern of your choice. Please email for pattern leaflet and state the colour of the leather required so that we can send you actual samples.
For larger areas you may need to order a cow hide leather top. See the grid for prices of each.
There will be a small order charge of £6 added to all orders under 4 square feet and a minimum charge of 1.5 sqr ft for smaller sizes.
NB. A cut skiver is charged by the largest overall measurements.
Please note that leather is a natural product. Leather will always bear the marks of its natural origin and these characteristics can show healed scars, growth marks, areas of fibre density and hair pore structure.

Post & Packing costs will be based on the weight of your order and the delivery area. Bulk charges may apply to orders that are heavy and/or bulky. It will be automatically calculated at the end of your order. You may cancel your order at any stage of the ordering process.Â
Alternatively, you can email your order to us, and we will calculate the delivery charge for you, including any discounts or bulk charges.Â

UK DeliveryÂ
Mainland UK dispatch is by Royal Mail or with a Carrier on a 24 or 48 hour service as appropriate (excluding weekends and public holidays). However, at busy times please allow 7-10 working days for your order to arrive. (A longer delivery period may be quoted for bespoke products or items not in stock).Â
Orders received after 1pm may not be dispatched until the following working day.Â
Please note: Aerosols can only be sent by carrier at the higher carriage rate, not by Royal Mail.Â
